Lourdes & Paris

A pilgrimage to Lourdes is like none other. The place of perhaps the most famous apparition of the Virgin Mary, it is arguably one of the most popular places of Catholic pilgrimage in the world following Rome and the Holy Land. Each year millions arrive to worship in its many shrines, bathe in its healing spring, and visit the Boly Mill, birthplace of Saint Bernadette, recipient of the Marian apparition, the Cachot where she was held while experiencing her apparitions, and many churches and chapels for mass, prayer and meditation. 

No visit to France would be complete without a visit to Paris, including tours of the Grand Louvre Museum, L’Arc de triomphe, Champs Elysee, Place de La Concorde, Madeleine Church, Notre Dame de Paris, the convent of the Daughters of Charity in the Rue du Bac, and, of course, the Eiffel Tower, with a river cruise on the Seine. Sites of pilgrimage will also include visit to the basilica of Sacre Coeur in Montmartre, the convent of the Daughters of Charity in the Rue du Bac, the Shrine of the incorrupt body of St. Margaret Alacoque, and Chartres Cathedral.

All good Shepherd Tours are all-inclusive programs that include airfare, accommodation, transportation, guided tours, and meals (with occasional lunches and dinners taken individually during periods of free time).
